Terry Heaton , CIHTerry Heaton’s professional career began as a job supervisor in the building construction and remodeling industry. In 1985, Terry joined LCH Construction Management as a project supervisor, and later became Senior Project Manager. He was the exclusive agent or lead team member in Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) investigations, CAD design, Quality Control, OSHA Training, and EPA communications. During his time at LCH, he was one of the main reasons for its 200% growth until 1996 when he left LCH and created Heaton Environmental. Terry received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Brigham Young University. He has also completed Environmental Courses which compliment his engineering background and provide a strong base for Heaton Environmental. These Courses and associated areas of expertise include but are not limited to: Mold Assessment and Remediation, Indoor Air Quality Practical and Applied, Specialty Sampling Methods, Conducting Environmental Audits, Lead Inspector and Lead Risk Assessor, Asbestos Courses i.e. Designer, Management Planner and Inspector, NIOSH 582, and Certified Indoor Environmentalist. Georgia Institute of Technology located in Atlanta, GA, has retained Terry as an instructor in their environmental courses.Terry’s responsibilities include contract negotiations and the implementation of contract services for residential, commercial, industrial, educational, governmental and retail facilities.
